POTION: Super PowersEpisode submitted by Anonymous51 on Thu Oct 28 13:49:59 2010 Return to Parent Episode "If someone drinks just one sip of this liquid, the person will gain super powers!" "Super powers? What, you mean like The X-Men or something?" Tom asked. He was remembering back to the first X-Men movie where Magneto was trying to turn ordinary people into mutants. The method was different, but the concept was the same. "Precisely," the doctor said, smiling. "You wouldn't believe how much of that comic book series is factual. I mean, about how they get their powers. Let me show you something," he said, waving Tom over. He held up a small chart, showing him a bunch of data and statistics. It was all technical, but Tom pretty much understood it, even though it had more to do with biology than chemistry. "See this?" Dr. Singer asked, pointing to a portion of the chart. "Yeah?" "I've discovered that all humans do actually have a mutant gene, much like it is in that comic book. And this potion activates that gene." He put down the chart and picked up the flask again and looked at it. "I've always dreamed of having super powers. Now my dreams have come true." "You already tried it on yourself?" Tom asked. "Yes, actually. That's how I know it worked." "Well ... what can you do?" "I'm glad you asked. Let me show you." Chocolate | |
