LAKE POINT: Is Derek Dead?Episode submitted by Anonymous51 on Wed Nov 10 05:50:41 2010 Return to Parent Episode The next moment, Derek found himself looking down at his own body. He stared at his seemingly lifeless body lying there on the sidewalk. What was happening? "Hey! Are you okay?" a man asked, running towards him. And then he ran through him, as if he wasn't even there. Or as if he were ... a ghost. Was that it? Was he a ghost? "No, this can't be," he whispered to himself. The man took out his cellphone and dialed 911, then reported that he had found a dead kid. He also stated in the call that he found a bottle of pills lying next to the body and thought it might have been a drug overdose. "Yeah, I'll stay here," the man said over the phone, then hung up. Derek approached the man, even though he was fairly sure he couldn't see him. "Listen, I don't know if you can hear me. But I'm not dead. I'm right here." But who was he kidding? If he was a ghost, then that meant that he was dead. Didn't it? | |
