Slung over his shoulder was a purse. His bedroom door opened suddenly and there was Robert, smiling. "You look stunning." I do? Jon thought. "Come on," Robert said. "Let's go. I've got a perfect evening planned for us." Jon smiled weakly, then tried to walk in the heels, but it was a rocky road. "Are you okay, Jon?" "It's these damn heels. I'm just not used to them." "What do you mean? You love wearing heels. Every time I see you, you're wearing them. And the higher, the better." What?! I wear heels all the time now? Jon thought. | |
