The stone glowed, granting her wish. And her wish was granted exactly the way she wanted, since Jon's "twisted wishing" wish only applied to wishers other than Jon or Karyn. Zoe got off of Jon and stood up. She looked at the stone in Karyn's hand and she knew what it was and what it was capable of doing. But for some reason, she no longer wanted it. She seemed a bit confused, then she walked back into the house. Karyn offered Jon her hand and he took it. She helped him to his feet. "Thanks, Karyn. If Zoe had made a wish ..." "Yeah, who knows what kind of weird things could have happened," Karyn said. Jon nodded, then asked for the stone back. But Karyn hesitated. There were a few wishes she was thinking of making. That was, in fact, the reason she was coming over to Jon's house. She had the stone, so why not make her wishes right now? | |
