She checked her watch. It was two in the morning. It had been about twelve hours since they entered the town. But how was that possible? What happened during the last half a day? She had absolutely no memory of it. And she wasn't asleep either. One moment, she was walking into the gas station, then the next she was sitting back in the car. It just didn't make any sense. She was already freaked out about the abandoned town and her missing husband, but this freaked her out even more. As she tried to figure out what happened, she got startled by the sound of someone knocking on the window. She turned towards the noise and gasped with surprise. Outside the car stood ...
