I had an odd thought on the cloud storyline. Actually I had this thought a couple weeks ago but lost interest and never wrote it.

What if the force driving the cloud, the one making it want to change a specific person when it formed and seek certain targets was a sort of intelligence. But one with a source.

What would be the source of the mind a of something Jon wished up? Why Jon himself of course.

Picture Jon knowing the cloud acting on desires and impulses he long since quashed and repressed and using his knowledge of himself to track it down.
