Oh, there was probably some decoration, or some foreign newspaper, or something lying around--but maybe not. And Jon didn't know enough to tell the difference between Hispanics from different countries, short of there being a poster of Mexico in his room, which there wasn't. He saw a photo which had some Spanish on it, which he could read as a banner saying "Puerto Rican festival" followed by the year. Apparently the stone doesn't affect the memories of people who hear the wish, but skills such as reading Spanish aren't memories. Okay, that answered the question. He was ready to go back to his room when Zoe said "Good morning, Josefina." Then, looking down at his breasts, and recalling the wish, he realized that he did not "find attractive" himself.... | |
