I keep calling you 'Mom', instead of 'Mom'," Linda said. Mikey just looked at her, sounding oddly calm. "I know you did, Linda." "Stop calling me that!" Linda yelled. "It's...wrong!" "Don't raise your voice to me," Mikey said. "But you're not listening to me!!" Linda yelled. What was going on? She wanted to scream. This made no sense. Mikey placed a hand on Linda's back. Why is Linda acting so immature? He thought. Linda blinked, wanting to push the hand away, but it felt so...comforting. What was I upset about again? Mikey started to guide Linda downstairs.
