ABANDONED: Charlie's CloneEpisode submitted by Anonymous51 on Thu Jul 21 05:44:50 2011 Return to Parent Episode "Who are you?" Charlie asked. The person stood up from the cell bed and approached the field, so that Charlie could get a clearer look. It seemed that his cellmate was ... himself? "You're ... me? How is that possible?" Charlie asked. The man in the next cell looked exactly like him, down to the clothes he was wearing. "I'm a clone," the man said. "I'm exactly like you." "If you're exactly like me, then why does your voice sound different?" Charlie asked. When he first heard the man's voice, he didn't recognize it. But he obviously would recognize his own voice. "This force-field disrupts sound waves, or something like that. It changes the pitch of the sounds passing through it." He paused, as he sat back down on his bed. "You might as well take a rest while you're here. You're going to be here for a while. I've been here for days. Maybe even weeks." It looked like the man (apparently his clone) was going to go to sleep, but Charlie stopped him. "Wait. I need you to answer some questions. How could you be my clone? And where is this place? How did I get here? Is there a way to get back to Earth?" The man in the next cell sighed, then said "To answer your first question ..." Charlie is a Clone Too? | |
