Go and change into something else, maybe just to humor his "family" so that he could maybe make them more comfortable for more of his questions? Or maybe search Laura's (his former) bedroom for the stone? If it was even in there. He needed to know what was happening. He headed toward his bedroom. Noting was where he expected it to be.
