"Okay, pumpkin. I'll be outside," her dad said. She ran back upstairs, not even noticing that less than an hour ago, there was no upstairs. Then she entered her bedroom and grabbed her purse, which contained her pink-colored cell phone (she loved the color pink). Once she had it, she made her way downstairs again and headed out the door. It was finally time to get to the party. ------ In the car, Linda was talking with her mom Jordan (giggling a lot as usual, which ticked off her sister Zoe) when suddenly her cell phone rang. She answered it, recognizing the voice immediately. It belonged to her friend Stacy Peterson, who lived just two houses down from her. "Hey, Stacy, what's up?" Linda asked. (Author's Note) | |
