And a second later, he heard his mom's voice. "Jon, are you okay in there? I heard a crashing sound." "I'm okay, Mom. Really. My, um, TV just fell off my desk." "How did that happen? I mean, that old thing seems pretty stable. You know, maybe you should think about getting something a bit newer. I'm surprised that that old TV even works anymore." Well, that settled it.
