Shortly later, they were eating and talking, having a good time. As they did, Jon began to change even more. But no one, not Jon or Yuki or anyone else, noticed. Having a best friend had a positive effect on Yuki. She wasn't as nervous. She was laughing and talking, and she didn't feel like she was alone in the world. The two were began talking about boys.
