Red Gloves: Mercedes MaybachEpisode submitted by Craptacular on Sat Oct 22 21:29:42 2011 Return to Parent Episode The car was a Mercedes Maybach, and the individual that was beckoning Bran Don inside happened to be a talent scout with Epic Records. The woman, named Stephanie, addressed Bran Don. "Excuse me? I work with one of the most successful and renowned record companies in the entire music business, and would be interested in giving you a free trial. I think you've got what it takes for stardom." Bran Don, amazed at his fortuitous stroke of luck, could not accept fast enough. "Sure, I'd be happy to do so!" Bran Don failed to notice the new pitch of his speaking voice, in addition to the fact that his hair had began to lighten in color and lengthen. His formerly brown, close-cropped hair was now a light auburn, and began tickling the tops of his ears. Mary looked on in disbelief as her son climbed into the vehicle, infuriated by his disobedience and also fearful of what he was he had gotten himself into. Eager to analyze her new project as quickly as possible, Stephanie waited until Bran Don had buckled himself into her car, and sped away towards the company's headquarters. The Chase Begins | |
