"These items will suffice, believe me." the shopkeeper responds. With a facial expression that belies her incredulity, Mary tells the shopkeeper that she will search elsewhere, and informs her son that they are leaving. Brandon, successfully concealing the red glove on his left arm in his pocket and jacket sleeve, responds in kind, and follows his mother out the shop door. Unbeknownst to the boy, however, a silver bracelet materializes on his left wrist, complimenting the soft satin of his new glove. Next Destination | |
