Jon looked around and tried to figure out where that singing was coming from. "Falalalala-lala-la-la!" It was coming from everywhere. It sounded like a whole chorus of people were singing it, but who were the singers and where were they? "Fa-lala-lala-la-la!" Clutching the stone, Jon said "I wish I knew why there's all that singing." The stone glowed and he got his answer ... unfortunately. While the singing sounded cheerful, it was not. The singers (beings from a higher plane of existence) were mourning the loss of Santa Claus. "Santa is dead?" Jon said aloud, feeling an overwhelming sense of dread wash over him. "But ... but he was supposed to fix all of this. He can't be dead!" Without him, how was Jon supposed to fix what he did? | |
