Magic Wand: Redneck Linda talks with Jon.Episode submitted by no_one on Wed Jan 4 05:35:28 2012 Return to Parent Episode When the light had faded Jon just stared at his mother cause she was dressed differently instead of her usual sensible work attire. She was dressed in worn work boots. camouflage pants, white wife beater, under a checker work shirt and camouflage vest. Not only that her hair was really short covered by camouflage ball cap. It took Jon a moment to realize that she looked like her brother Rick when he comes by to visit while on one of his hunting trips. But most recently with their fathers death. He is what people would call a redneck. Linda noticed that Jon was staring at her. Snapping her fingers in front Jon to get his attention. “ Earth to Jonno what cha gocking at, asked Linda?” Shuck out of his stupor he replied, “ Nothing mom . But are you o.k.?” Linda looked at her son and said,“ I fine, but what is with you this morning Jonno?” “Um nothing just little tired still,” answered Jon. “Well, finish getting ready we have a lot to today,” replied Linda. Slapping his back lightly like Rick would do and headed Down Stairs. As he watched her go he noticed that not only did she look and sound like uncle Rick she even walked like him. Looking at the wand in his hand it some how given his mother her brother’s personality and who knows what else. Carefully putting it back where he found it. He finished getting dressed and went down stairs to see what else had happened and to get hold of Karen to help figure things out. | |
