From his hiding spot beneath his bed, his wishing rock glowed slightly. From the light emerged a sickly vapor. Uncolored and slithering, it left no trail. The rock grew dull once again and the vapor floated/crawled up Jon's mattress and across his blankets. It reached his uncovered face. Jon took a heavy breath, inhaling the vapor in whole. He stirred once and returned to uninterrupted slumber. | |
