Jon glares at the small crowd. "You have ten seconds to get out of my way."

"What is miss pretty going to do; kiss me?"

Jon lowers her shoulder and charges. She hits the man who had taunted her with a perfect football block; shoving him backwards into another man. Then she is running towards the exit leaving two men sprawled on the floor and the rest of the crowd frozen; wondering what had happened.

Only when she was well out in the mall parking lot did Jon slow down. Now what? she wondered as she headed towards home on the sidewalk.

Where's Karyn?
