Jon was getting desperate. He HAD to get back up there and get his rock back. But his clothes were all pinching him at the joints and seams, making it hard to for him as he struggled to get to his feet. As he grabbed the bannister for support, he yelled out to his mother.

"Mom! Give me back the rock! If this keeps up, there'll be no getting back to myself! Toss it down to me!"

Jon's mother peered down the stairwell at her son and gasped as she saw an image from the past. Jon now looked very much as she did when she was seventeen! The hair and clothes were different of course, but there was no mistaken the facila features... Jon was very much his mother's daughter. The stray thought crossed her mind that she liked him better this way, but Jon's yelling broke her our of her reveries.

"Mom!!! Gimme the rock!!! C'moooooon!"

Still grasping the rock, she walked down the stairwell and...
