I spent a few minutes padding around the room getting the feel of feline muscles and senses. I liked the feeling and the incredible number of scents my feline nose was detecting; but jaguar had one handicap in common with horse. No hands!

Let's see if this works, I thought as I tried to shift forms a bit. I felt the shift in my shoulders and neck ... and I had am upper torso and arms similar to those of a human between my head and feline body. Complete with jaguar fur and claws in the fingertips.

Karyn returned at that moment; then dropped the large, raw steak she'd been carrying with splat. "Jon! You're a ..."

I hugged her; purring softly. "You like?"
