Nothing seemed to happen. Jon shrugged assuming that his wish had been granted and that he was going to the prom with Karyn. It would be fun. Karyn liked him. She wanted to go the prom with him. She found him very attractive. But something bothered Jon.

The rock made things too easy. He could make anyone like him. He could have anything. He looked at the rock and the limitless potential it held and realised that he didn't want it.

Karyn came up to him. "Hey Karyn."

"Hey you hunk of love," Karyn said wrapping her arms around him, "I've been thinking about the Prom. I can't wait. It's going to be great!"

Jon nodded, feeling guilty. He realised that these emotions were not real. Maybe he should not go to the Prom with her...?
