Akabaieth Deceased

Creator: Charles Matthias

Born Apadares of Whales, Akabaieth yearned to be a sailor, but was denied this by his father. In protest, he joined the Ecclesia, where he became known for being very forceful in attempting to convert Lothanasi to the faith. Akabaieth suffered a crisis in his life, and changed courses dramatically, becoming a champion of peace and understanding and soon rose to the rank of Patriarch. He was on a mission of peace to Metamor and the Midlands when he was slain by Zagrosek only half a day's ride from Metamor.

Alfais Deceased

Species: Human

Creator: Charles Matthias

Alfais was one of the four Yeshuel sent to Metamor to protect the Patriarch. He was killed by Zagrosek.

Christopher

Species: Bear

Creator: Kristy Davis

Christopher was once an assistant to Fox Cutter in the library. He has also often been out on patrol duty, but a while back he found himself in a fight with a foreigner and was stabbed in the back, paralysing him from the waist down. Recently though, Wanderer conspired to heal him with Raven Lightbringer, though the latter was not completely aware of the duplicity involved. The healing was a success, locking Christopher in his true bear form, while Wanderer was reduced to nothing more than a wolf in mind and body. Christopher now serves as penance as an acolyte in the Lothanasi temple.

Hough, Francis

Species: Child

Creator: Charles Matthias

Father Francis Hough was a Follower Priest at the Ellcaran diocese to the south. He was the one who was sent to the Keep during Follower holidays to perform the rites for the small, but earnest Follower population at the Keep. During the Equinox-Easter festival, he spent a great deal of time talking with Duke Thomas, arranging for the eventual creation of a parish at the Keep. After reciving a letter from Phil, he headed back towards the Keep, but was kidnapped by Lord Loriod who did unspeakable things to him. Rupert rescued him, and now he lives in the Keep as a child of about ten. The Keep herself has provided him with a chapel in which he may lead his fellow Followers in worship.

Iosef was Kashin's friend and one of the four Yeshuel sent to Metamor to protect the Patriarch. He was killed by Zagrosek.

Kashin Deceased

Species: Human

Kashin was one of the four Yeshuel to accompany Patriarch Akabaieth on his ill-fated journey to Metamor. Kashin survived Zagrosek's attack, and took the Sathmoran blade used to kill Akabaieth with him on a quest for vengeance. He was met by Andares of the Åelf who brought him to meet Qan-af-årael. Qan-af told him of the history of Jagoduun, and his duty to destroy Jagoduun's influence in Yesulam. Kashin was then captured by Magyars and made one of them. After climbing Mount Cenziga, a mysterious mountain in the Flatlands, he was slain, though a double of his, with lost arm restored to him, descended from the mountain and took the Magyar name Nemgas.

Lakaesh was one of the four Yeshuel sent to Metamor to protect the Patriarch. He was killed by Zagrosek.

Meria hin'Dana

Creator: Raven Blackmane

Merai is the first new cleric to be admitted into the Metamor Chapter of the Lothanasi since the Battle of the Three Gates. She performs many of the regular sacrifices, healings, blessings and rituals conducted by the Order, and generally helps to keep things running smoothly at the temple. She is Raven hin'Elric's confidante, apprentice, and right-hand aide. A number of very strange things have happened in Merai's vicinity since she was first accepted as an initiate of the Lightbringer Order. Gods and daedra alike seem to be taking an inordinate interest in her, though she does not yet understand why. The truth is that Merai is the subject of a prophecy given 450 years before her birth, and a great deal more strange and amazing things will happen around her before all is said and done.

Raven hin'Elric

Creator: Raven Blackmane

Raven is the high priestess of Metamor Keep. She is a member of the order of clerics known as the Lothanasi, an Old Tongue title that translates as "Lightbringers". The position of Lothanas (female form Lothanasa), or High Priestess, is a hereditary one, which passed down to Raven when her father Elric, the previous Lothanas, was killed at the Battle of Three Gates. Also among the casualties were her mother, two brothers and a sister, all clerics of the Lothanasi. Raven, the youngest and least experienced of the family, was thus left to lead the Order in these troubled times. Raven is sometimes referred to by outsiders as "Raven Lightbringer", as if the title were a family name. This is not entirely accurate, and the proper form of address is "the Lightbringer". Her main function is as an intermediary between the spiritual and the physical -- in essence, a divine lobbyist.

Vinsah

Species: Raccoon

Bishop Vinsah of Abaef was Patriarch Akabaieth's chief aid and confidant during the Patriarch's tenure. It was long assumed by many that vinsah would become Patriarch after Akabaieth passed away. When they travelled to Metamor, Vinsah began having dreams of a strange silvery woman who called him Elvmere and bade him to stay. Further, the night Zagrosek slayed Akabaieth and his retinue, she warned him of the attack, and instructed him to protect himself. Vinsah did so, but was so injured he had to be brought back to Metamor. He woke up after the curse had taken him and made of him a raccoon. It also made him younger again, so that he appears only twenty, though he is well over fifty years in age. Shortly after the Questioners came to Metamor, Vinsah left to journey once again to Yesulam. He has been accompanied by Malger and Murikeer on this journey which has led him into Sathmore.
