Andrej, Sir Deceased

Sir Andrej was one of the knights under Sir Poznan's command. He was killed while scouting ahead by the Magyars.

Athfisk, Father Deceased

Species: Untransformed Human

Creator: Charles Matthias

Father Athfisk was the priest that accompanied Sir Poznan and his knights. He went with Sir Ignacz to chart out the mountain passes in the southern regions of Vysehrad. After being confronted by Nemgas and believing what the Magyar said to be true, he was accidentally killed by Sir Ignacz's squire.

Czestadt, Sir

Species: Untransformed Human

Sir Czestadt of Stuthgansk, Volka wie stuth, is the Knight Templar of the Driheli, the head of their order. He was once a purple amongst the Kankoran, one of their blademasters. He has the ability to manipulate swords in the air, though it is not something he often uses. His mission is to hunt down Kashin of the Yeshuel, and kill him. He follows his duty devoutly and without question. And, as has been discovered by the Driheli, he cannot be killed by a sword blade. His heraldry is of a black falcon rising up out of a field of flames, bearing a shield with the blue and green cross of the Driheli.

Givny, Father

Father Givny is a rather meek priest. He accompanies Sir Czestadt on their search across the Steppe.

Grastalko

Species: Untransformed Human

Grastalko was born Golonka of Stuthgansk. He joined the Driheli a couple of years ago because he felt that was what he ought to do. He was captured by the Magyars after his knight was killed. After he confessed all that he knew, he was given Magyar clothes and made to wear them, as well as the Magyar name Grastalko. It took him a while before he accepted this and realized that he could also be happy being a Magyar. He made friends with Gamran, but it was Nemgas that occupied his thoughts. He choose to be a Magyar in the end when he realized that was how he could best show honour and live up to the ideals he held. His left hand was burned when he grasped the golden blade that slew the Patriarch, but an illusion masks the damage.

Guthven, Sir

Species: Untransformed Human

Sir Guthven is one of Sir Czestadt's closest confidants. After the death of Sir Poznan, it is rumoured that Guthven will be appointed to replace him as a Knight Commander. Guthven sports a dark beard that his fingers will often pull at when he is thinking.

Hevsky

Species: Untransformed Human

Hevsky is Sir Czestadt's squire. He is a lad of fifteen who has been Czestadt's squire for a few years now. He longs to be a knight with all his heart and cannot help but look up to Czestadt as a father. Still, he felt shamed when he cried at seeing Czestadt apparently dead.

Ignacz, Sir Deceased

Sir Ignacz was one of the knights that accompanied Sir Poznan. He was killed by Nemgas while attempting to chart the mountain pass leading east from Vysehrad.

Jerzy, Sir Deceased

Species: Untransformed Human

Sir Jerzy was one of the knights that accompanied Sir Poznan. He was killed facing the undead dragon in Carethedor. The dragon crushed him and then ate his body.

Karol

Species: Untransformed Human

Karol is a stocky lad, short of stature, but heavy set. He is sixteen years of age, and has been squired to Sir Petriz for five years. He came from a family of fishermen, but he always yearned to be a knight. To him it is the highest of callings, and Sir Petriz one of the best of all knights. He is fearful for his knight's life, and feels conflicted that Sir Petriz would potentially sacrifice his life to save Karol's.

Petriz, Sir

Species: Untransformed Human

Sir Petriz of Vasks was once Sir Czestadt's squire. He was born to a family of potter's, but his only wish was to be a knight. He prayed for this every day until Sir Czestadt picked him out of a crowd and declared boefre everyone that he was to be the knight's squire. Sir Petriz adores Sir Czestadt and praises Eli every day for creating a man such as he. Consequently, Sir Petriz has a love for squires, and treats all of them respectfully and with admiration. He loves his own squire Karol as a son, and when faced with a threat to Karol's life, he bargained himself as a prisoner to Nemgas in exchange for Karol's freedom. His heraldry is blue and black in squares, with a sword on one side, and the crescent moon on the other.

Poblocka, Sir

Sir Poblocka is one of the knights that accompanied Sir Petriz. He is a stocky man with blond mustache.

Poznan, Sir Lech Deceased

Species: Untransformed Human

Creator: Charles Matthias

Sir Lech Poznan of Bydbrüszin was one of the two Knight Commanders that Sir Czestadt brought with him to the Flatlands to search and kill Kashin. Sir Poznan was one of the younger sons of the Lord of Bydbrüszin, but he did not regret that he could gain renown from becoming a knight. Rather, he enjoyed being able to engage enemies in battle, where he was ruthless and much feared. His heraldry is white on the dexter, and red on the sinister, with a flame in the sinister base. Sir Poznan was killed by the boy Pelurji in Carethedor. Pelurji slid the blade Caur-Merripen through Sir Poznan's exposed back just before Poznan was able to kill Nemgas.

Skowicz

Species: Untransformed Human

Creator: Charles Matthias

Skowicz was Sir Poznan's squire. His horse ran when the undead dragon began to move, so he did not see Sir Poznan's death. He is fifteen years of age, and although he served with Sir Pozna for many years, never seemed to develop the same sort of love for the fight that Sir Poznan had. He is still a member of the Driheli, though a squire without a knight has little that he can do. Skowicz waits to be given to another knight to finish his training. All the while he mourns Sir Poznan's death.

Tadeusz, Sir

Species: Untransformed Human

Creator: Charles Matthias

Sir Tadeusz is the only knight that accompanied Sir Poznan to still be alive. He was helping Sir Ignacz chart out the southern passes of the Vysehrad, but fled back to the west when he heard the Magyars near the clearing in which he waited for the other knight.

Witold Deceased

Species: Untransformed Human

Witold was a squire killed in the ambush near Barchumba that also claimed Sir Andrej's life.

Wodnicki, Sir

Species: Untransformed Human

Creator: Charles Matthias

Sir Wodnicki is one of the knights that accompanied Sir Petriz. He is a tall fellow, and somewhat light in the saddle, and also several years Sir Petriz's senior. But he is also loyal to Sir Petriz and the Driheli.

Zygmunt Deceased

Species: Untransformed Human

Creator: Charles Matthias

Zygmunt was Sir Petriz's first squire. And so he stayed for three years before Sir Petriz dismissed him in disgrace. Sir Petriz dismisse dhim because Zygmunt wanted to be a knight for all the wrong reasons. Not because he wished to serve as protectors of the Ecclesia, but so that he might find an outlet for his aggression and love of violence. He later became a brigand, and Sir Petriz himself brought him to justice. He was hanged for his crimes.
