AgatheSpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasAgathe is a purple Runecaster, one of the mage clans from the Southlands. She is one of the three wizards who were controlling Altera Loriod in the months before Loriod was killed. She has since been complicit in the Patriarch's murder, Wessex's murder, and has also been responsible for using the Pillars of Ahdyojiak to send the Sword of Yajakali to Yesulam. |

Calephas, GaradanSpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasBaron Garadan Calephas used to be ruler in Giftum, until his vices and treachery were revealed around 697 CR. He was in collusion with Nasoj to destabilize the Northern Midlands in expectation of the wizard's imminent invasion. He was also caught practicing pedastry and was responsible for the kidnapping and murder of nearly a hundred street urchins. Calephas fled to the Giantdowns, where he was given command of an army and marchedon Arabarb. He was able to take the northern land with relative ease, and has held it in a firm grip ever since, despite the significant underground resistance movement that has sprung up in his wake. He still continues his depraved sexual habits, though more unfettered now. |
GeshterSpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasGeshter succeeded Akabaieth as Patriarch of the Ecclesia. Formerly Cardinal of Pyralis, he went to Marzac at the behest of the Marquis to perform an exorcism and was corrupted while there. To date he has not taken overt actions in support of Marzac, but the corruption is still there. |
JothaySpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasJothay was originally from the Southlands city of Eavey, and serves as the Bishop of that city. But he went to Marzac along with Geshter to perform the exorcism. He has since been corrupted by the evil there. At present, he weilds the Sword of Yajakali and is responsible for summoning the Driheli to hunt down and kill Kashin. |
Loriod, Altera DeceasedSpecies: Male HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasAltera Loriod was once a fetching lass from the Pyralian Kingdoms. She married Lord Alvarez Loriod in 696 CR, but spent the next four years insuring that she never bore him a child. After the curses led to her husband's death and her own gender swap, she became the new Lord Loriod. He ruled his land with an iron fist, grinding the spirits of those underneath him. Because his lands produced the crop that Metamor depended on, he was tolerated by the Hassan court. That is until in Spring of 706 CR he became involved with the actions of Krenek Zagrosek and for a time became the Keeper of the Censer of Yajakali. His treason was discovered by Phil and Thomas, and in April of 706 CR, Altera Loriod's castle was seiged, though Altera himself was killed by Zagrosek before the Metamorians could capture him. |
NasojSpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Christian O'KaneNasoj and his minions of Lutins have for years been trying to destroy Metamor Keep. It is one of the few things left standing between him and the Midlands. In the Battle of Three Gates, his forces were thrown back, but not after he managed to cast a powerful spell with supernatural aid. The spell bifurcated into three forms. The first turned the recipient into an animal; the second switched the person's gender, and made that person a sex slave to anybody of the opposite sex; the third turned the victim into a toddler, of no more than three. However, counter spells have helped people return to at least some semblance of humanity. The residual effect of the place is known as Nasoj's Curse. Nasoj's present location is undetermeind, as are his exact plans. During Yuletide 706 CR, Nasoj struck at Metamor again, but was once more thrown back in what is now being called Winter Assault. Tournemire, Camille duSpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasThe Marquis Camille du Tournemire owns the land of Marzac, and is the one coordiating the efforts of Zagrosek, Jothay, ad the rest. He carries himself with a dignified air, dressing primarily in soft blues. He enjoys the game of politics for its own sake as well. His most prized possession is a mahogany case with a deck of cards that he himself designed. On each card is the face of somebody who he intends to ue to further his plans. The deck is only slightly different from the decks we know. The suit of Diamonds is replaced by Coins, and Spades by Swords. Further, the Jack is replaced by two cards, the Knight and the Priest, with the Priest being of higher value than the Knight. With these cards, he can inflict pain on the person in the card, and further, take control of their minds. His ultimate goals are unknown, but they involve the three artifacts of Yajakali. |
VigoureuxSpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasVigoureux is the Marquis's Steward. He travels with the Marquis and helps him in all things. He is a rather fat man though, and does not appear to have any combat skill. But he remains one of only twopeople to whom the Marquis regularly speaks. He is thoroughly corrupted by Marzac. |
YonsonSpecies: LemurCreator: Charles MatthiasYonson is a purple Weathermonger, a mage clan from the Southlands. He is currently serving as the ambassador to Metamor from Tournemire. He has to date merely watched and conducted trade negotiations with Metamor. |
Zagrosek, KrenekSpecies: Untransformed HumanCreator: Charles MatthiasKrenek Zagrosek is a black Sondeckis, and in fact, was a childhood friend of Charles Matthias. For fifteen years they lived in the same room together as they were trained in the art of the Sondeckis. Zagrosek disappeared roughly three years ago, and was next seen leading a trio of mages in controlling Lord Loriod. He in fact killed Loriod before escaping. He turned up again in October 706 CR to murder Patriarch Akabaieth. And then, he was there during Winter Assualt helping save Glen Avery and Metamor Keep before he disappeared again. He has been since then travelling back and forth between the Midlands and Pyralia on errands for the Marquis. |
