We were testing the rock. Remember? First we tested it on your hair for five minutes. Five minutes, a time limit." "So?" "I wished a time limit on your pregnancy, too. But when you wished you were 9 months along, you didn't put a time limit on that, so even after my first wish wears off, this one won't!" "Really? I don't remember your wish. I was pregnant anyway." "You weren't! I just wished it and you remember it being normal." Karyn looked at her watch. "You have around half a minute left before the wish wears off." Then she went silent. Several seconds later, Jon suddenly screamed. "Karyn! I remember!" "The wish wore off. Of course you remember. I wished you'd know what happened after it wore off." "But I really did do it. I wished myself 9 months pregnant, and that doesn't make any sense at all! Everyone else remembers me being pregnant, too. And I can't reverse the wish, either. And how can I give birth? At least, I wish I could give birth safely...." But how? | |
