"... and I wish I was in the hospital giving birth right now."

Suddenly, Jon was lying on his back, a sheet, or something, over the lower half of his body, and in pain. He must have been injected with something to dull the pain, but he could still feel it. Karyn wasn't in the room, but was probably just outside.

But now that he had made sure it was safe, he still really didn't know how he had done it.

"Doctor," he whispered to the attending doctor, "how is it that I can give birth safely?"
