After Jon got home, Karyn came by asking what Jon was going to do with the wishing stone. When he told her what he was thinking of doing, she said "Is that the only thing you could think of? You and your comic books. When will you grow up?"

"Karyn, what's wrong with people having superpowers? I think it would be cool."

"Yeah, if you were 8 years old."

"It's what I'm doing, Karyn."

Karyn saw that she wasn't going to talk Jon out of turning people into superheroes, so she stopped trying.

Jon held the stone and said "I wish ..."
