About half an hour later, Karyn said "Look at this, Jon," holding the map up. It looked like somewhere down the road, the green area (meaning farmland) would be replaced by a red area, which took up that whole side of the map. So far as they've seen, red indicated buildings, like the cabin and the gas station. If the whole area was like that, then maybe that meant a city. Surely, they would find help there. Jon kept on driving until he saw it. A skyline of skyscrapers stretching from one side of the horizon to the other. It was amazing. "Civilization at last," Sarah said, relieved.
