ABANDONED: Tracking Down the NoiseEpisode submitted by Anonymous51 on Sun Feb 1 03:36:30 2009 Return to Parent Episode Charlie ran up to one of the windows and peered inside. It looked like it was some sort of book store, as there were shelves full of books and magazines. But the store was empty. Just like the rest of the city, everyone was gone. "Where did that noise come from?" he asked himself. He walked into the alley and looked around. Everything was so silent. Charlie had grown up in the city, so he was used to the commotion. All of this silence was freaking him out, especially when it was in a major urban area. As he was looking around, he heard a loud noise. This was different than the noise he heard before. It sounded more ... metallic. He had a pretty good idea where it was coming from and followed it to its source, which ended up being the building behind the book store.
