It was dark, but fortunately it was still light enough to see, thanks to the emergency lighting. He found it interesting that while there were no people or vehicles around, there was still electricity. He walked through the corridors of the building for a few minutes, but then stopped when he heard voices. People, Charlie thought. But were they friend or foe? He crept the rest of the way, hoping to not make a sound and reveal that he was there. At least, not until he had a fair idea of what was going on.
