He stifled a laugh. "Ummm..nothing," he said. "Sorry." "Aren't we going to do something other than just sit here?" Jon said, shooting Karyn a look that showed she was still annoyed with him. Kiki looked at her. "Like what, exactly?" "Get outside? See what's going on?" Kiki nodded. "If you want. I thought that would make you rather nervous, but okay." Jon and Karyn both got up. Both seemed to be comfortable enough in the forms they'd come to be in that they did not look awkward. They headed toward the door and went outside.
