(Author's note: This was inspired by discussions with Momo in the Fiction Branches IRC chat that was set up.)

"What do you mean, you dropped the rock?" Karyn said. "You dropped a powerful magical object capable of changing our reality? How do you know someone hasn't turned us into something without us even knowing it?"

Jon rubbed his head. "We should look for it. I should have wished I couldn't lose it."

"That might have been a good idea," Karyn said. "Honestly Jon, I don't know how you can be..."

FLASH

Jenna blinked. She had the oddest feeling she had just been somewhere else and that something was wrong. That she was supposed to be...in school? That was odd. She'd been out for years.

She looked at her watch. Lunch was almost over. She had to get to work.

Meanwhile, back at the school, someone watched the stone flash, and stuck it into a locker. They wondered how the stone had granted their wish, and went to see.
