"I like that floor." Karyn smiled and grabbed the rock. "I wish all the floors in this house were as originally built."

This time the 'look elsewhere' reaction was accompanied by a starnge feeling of movement underfoot. And sudddenly the entire floor was polished oak.

I looked around. "It is nice. Anything else?"

She headed for the back door. "Maybe a little change in the yard."
