Of course! Zoe wouldn't have the wishing stone! Which means... it's probably still back at my room -- my actual room. It was looking like I would have to spend the day without the help of the stone. Maybe I could run back home during lunch hour to get it... "Could you get a move on, Zoe?" Jon asked. "I told Karyn I would be meeting her before our first class." As he spoke, he patted his thigh with his hand. It was the same absent-minded gesture I had made a moment ago, except in his case there was a familiar lump in the front pocket of his jeans. My eyes widened. Jon -- the other Jon, the other version of me -- still had the wishing stone! Leave the car. | |
