These are my earliest works, but a large amount.  The first story was strongly inspired by Alan Dean Foster's 'Icerigger' but taken to the opposite extreme.   I actually talked to my high school teachers about some of the physics, or lack thereof, in these stories.

Anyway, don't late the date or the warning scare you off, I actually think they're not that bad and other readers have agreed with me.  Enjoy!

A Meeting (1983, revised 1992) (41k) The first story I ever wrote, and the most extensively revised.  The last few survivors from Earth are looking for a new home, but not new life.  They find the latter.
Rebirth (1992) (92k) This was written as a writing assignment in a creative writing class in university and is a direct sequel to A Meeting.  You really should read A Meeting first.  After a long journey the last survivors have found a planet that they have no choice but to make their home as they can't go any further.  But they are not alone.
Victory (1989) (21k) This one is completely independent but still uses the common background.   It's kind of depressing, but I do believe that this kind of thing could happen.
